I'm hoping to do a little blog hopping during Maya's afternoon nap. And stay tuned for an onslaught of picture books reviews, I'm hoping to post my thoughts on many of the books we checked out from the library that have a fall theme. I'm still catching up on my own reviews, too...I hope to have my thoughts up soon on Hotel du Lac by Anita Brookner, Remember Me and Shopahoilc and Baby by Sophie Kinsella, and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

I loooove Mahfouz, but I've only read the first in the Cairo trilogy-my library didn't have the other ones at the time, and then I got distracted. But he's definitely one of those authors who I want to rad everything they wrote!

I haven't been apple picking since I was a kid. Not alot of apple trees around the Tulsa Oklahoma area. Hope you had a really nice time.
I have the Cairo trilogy on my shelves as well. Lately it has been eying me more and more ferociously. I guess it wants to be read. I am thinking about reading this one a bit later this year, when the weather gets dark and cold again.
