Spring Reading Thing 2007

What a fun way to serenade in spring! This challenge is hosted by Katrina, over at Callapidder Days.

Overlapping slightly with some other challenges, here are my spring picks:
1. Digging to America by Anne Tyler
2. Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
3. Red Earth and Pouring Rain - Vikram Chandra (Chunkster Challenge)
4. I, Rigoberta Menchu by Rigoberta Menchu (TBR Challenge)
5. The Bone People - Keri Hulme (Reading Across Borders)

I'm doing this one too! I LOVED Purple Hibsicus...and it is a relatively quick read. Adichie is wonderful. Your other picks look good too.

Why is everyone tempting me with challenges :) I'm still debating whether to join in or not. I'm with Wendy, Purple Hibiscus is a great read.

i love that button. will check out the challenge and see if I should join too. May be saturated though. It depends on the rules!
I have signed up for all of them so far... + I have one of my own that am hosting - which is a blast in itself though on mf of one...
Great list enjoy.

I just looked up Purple Hibiscus, thanks to your challenge list. It sounds terrific. Red Earth and Pouring Rain is on my wish list, also. I'll look forward to reading your thoughts about them!
