Friday Fill-In - February 15

1. Snowdrops are one of my favorite things. But I don't like the cold temperatures that come with them.
2. I'm going to start reading my ARC of The Translator this afternoon.
3. Cheek to Cheek sung by Frank Sinatra (among others) is a song whose lyrics have meaning to me.
4. Just one sip and my body is warmed by the hot cup of tea.
5. Travelling with my husband is where I'm happiest.
6. I believe that doing your taxes is a necessary part of life.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to making salmon papillote, tomorrow my plans include meeting my parents for lunch and Sunday, I want to watch more of Season One of The Wire that I have from Netflix.

mmmm, salmon papillote sounds delish!

Is that your lovely cat over there on the sidebar? Gorgeous! I had a cat that looked just like her back in the 80s...her name was Cameo :-)

Thanks for playing!

Ahhhh. Sounds a bit silly, but that is how I felt reading your list. Trust me, its a compliment. Just the thought of the hot tea and the Salmon dish brought to mind many wonderful things. If that papillote sounds as good as I think I may have to pester you for recipe. Muah.

Happy Friday! And thank you for the lovely post.

janet - yep, that's our little isabel. she was our baby...well, until we had our baby in november! Now she's feeling a bit neglected since all eyes aren't on her 24/7. :)

j.c. - thanks! it is the first time I am cooking salmon this way. If it turns out well I'll post the recipe along with another recipe that someone requested a few weeks back.

beastmomma - thank you, and welcome!

Also, I posted my own responses on my site (after giving you credit, of course) Is it okay to do that or would you rather have this be your own thing?

I am not a fan of the cold either. Brr.

I hope you will enjoy The Translator. And have a great weekend!

I so agree with you about the cup of tea - especially if it's the first out of a very large pot.
