Friday Fill-In, January 11

Yay, I have time to do a Friday Fill-In this week!

1. My favorite day of 2007 was November 26, the day my daughter was born.
2. I'm most tempted by Paperback Swap and Amazon.com.
3. Today I want to sleep for 8 uninterrupted hours when I go to bed, which I know will not happen.
4. The last thing I took a picture of was actually not my daughter, but something that I was giving away on Freecycle.
5. You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead. (can you figure out where I got this from?)
6. The most recent movie I’ve seen that I really enjoyed was Transformers.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to Daedalus bookstore, tomorrow my plans include going on a walk, weather permitting and Sunday, I want to spend time with my husband and daughter!

The Daedalus bookstore - is that the same as the catalog? I didn't realize they had an actual store! Enjoy it!

Yep it is, I think they only have one store which is here in Baltimore.

Amazon.come is hard to resist sometimes. Hopefully you will be able to get your 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep once your little one is sleeping through the night. :-)

Have a great weekend!

wendy - thanks! she is a good sleeper, at the moment I actually have to wake her sometimes after 4 hours to eat. If I let her sleep, she has gone as long as six hours! But, she is a slow weight gainer (I was the same way when I was a baby), so to keep the pediatrician off our back with supplement talk, we don't let her go more than 4 hours without nursing.

Amazon sure is tempting isn't it?
The Neustadt Challenge sounds interesting. I hadn't heard of it before. I'm not sure I can fit in another challenge and of books I don't already own (so I didn't comment directly on that post) but it does sound good. I've been debating whether to subscribe to World Literature Today.

Also I have to say I'm glad to have 'found' you again. When I tried clicking on your comments at my blog it always came back an error so I thought maybe you'd stopped blogging but were still visiting from time to time. It was the post about your challenge at A Novel Challenge that led me here. :)
